The following is a listing of all commands available while in game. Commands are useful for macros, or just in general if you prefer not to use shortcut keys or your mouse. If you want to see a listing of all commands in game, type "/?" for a general listing, or "/? (command name)" for details on the specific command.

/? Displays list of commands and emotes.
/ver Displays game version.
/s Enters 'say' chat mode.
/sh Enters 'shout' chat mode.
/t Enters 'tell' chat mode.
/p Enters 'party' chat mode.
/l Enters 'linkshell' chat mode.
/em Enters 'emote' chat mode.
/nominate Creates a vote (often used in parties).
/propose Displays vote results.
/vote Cast vote.
/random Generates random number between 1 and 999.
/a Engages auto-attack.
/attackoff Disengages auto-attack.
/ta Targets nearest object, NPC, PC etc.
/targetpc Targets nearest PC.
/targetnpc Targets nearest NPC.
/as Targets monster that party members are attacking.
/item Displays inventory.
/equip Displays equipment menu.
/ma Macro command line for magic spells.
/ws Macro command line for weapon skills.
/nin Macro command line for ninjitsu.
/so Macro command line for songs.
/ja Macro command line for job abilities.
/pet Macro command line for pets orders.
/heal Character rests (recovers HP / MP).
/fish Enters fishing mode.
/dig Enter digging mode (chocobo use only)
/help Displays help menu.
/dismount Dismount from Chocobo.
/range Uses range attacks (bow, crossbows)
/shoot Uses gun.
/throw Uses throwing weapons.
/check Examines target.
/logout Logs out from Final Fantasy XI.
/sea Command line for search.
/flist Displays friend list.
/blist Displays black list.
/playtime Displays hours played.
/clock Displays current time (earth and vana'diel).
/makeli Creates linkshell.
/breakli Disbands linkshell.
/keyitem Displays key item menu.
/quest Displays quest menu.
/mission Displays mission menu.
/map Displays map.
/rmap Displays region map.
/sd Displays support desk.
/helpdesk Displays help desk.
/pol Temporarily log out to PlayOnline.
/tribune Displays Vana'diel Tribune (Mog House only)
/pccmd Displays party commands.
/acmd Displays alliance comands.
/join Joins party.
/decline Declines to join party.
/automove Enables auto-run.
/follow Follows target.
/lockon Locks on to target.
/invite Invites PC to current party.
/ag Turns auto-group status on.
/anon Hides character information.
/autotarget Automatically targets nearest object, PC, NPC etc.
/online Sets POL status to online.
/away Sets POL status to away.
/busy Sets POL status to busy.
/hide Hides POL status.
/names Turns names off.
/layout Command to decorate (Mog House only)
/garden Command to garden (Mog House only)
/smes Displays system message.
/lsmes Displays linkshell message.
