When I try to download an update, it says "File already in use"

If you try to download an update to RSWS, and get an error message that looks like this:

Follow these steps to fix the problem:

1. Save the new RSWS into a different directory then where the current one is.
2. Close RSWS completely.
3. Copy the new RSWS, and put it into the directory were the old one is (replacing the old one).

Run RSWS.exe, the new one should now work!

When I run RSWS, it gives me an error message "Missing file: Msinet.ocx

If you start RSWS, and get an error message that looks like this:

Don"t worry! All this means is that you don"t have a certain, Microsoft provided file, that RSWS needs.

The steps to fixing this problem:

1. Download this file
2. Go to C:Windows
   • If a folder called "system32" exists, then save "Msinet.ocx" (the file that you downloaded) to "C:Windowssystem32".
   • If that folder doesn"t exist, then save "Msinet.ocx" to "C:Windowssystem"

Run RSWS.exe, it should now work!

I got Msinet.ocx, but it still doesn"t work

If you have already downloaded and installed "Msinet.ocx", but RSWS still doesn"t work,then you need to get the setup program for RSWS. This program carries all the filesto run RSWS on most any computer, but you only need to get it once.

Download this file

Extract it, and run Setup.exe. It should install RSWS!

When I download RSWS_setup.zip, my computer doesn"t know what kind of a file it is

If when you downloaded RSWS_setup.zip, the .zip file changed to a .gz

This is what you need to do:

1. Download RSWS_setup.zip
   
   
   
   
2. Then change the .gz to a .zip
   
   
   
   
3. Extract all files
   
   
   
   
   

Run setup.exe, and your ready to go!
