RuneScape Cheats:Dueling Guide

Dueling

Dueling is a fun part of Runescape members, people stake, and have fun duels. To duel somebody, first right click on them, and you will see:

Trade with ------- level --
Duel with -------- level --
Follow -------

Click on duel. If you are sent a duel challenge, then you do the same thing.

To stake you will see your items in your inventory. Click on whatever you wish to stake so it will be in the stake side. There are 4 options to the dueling system, No retreat, No magic, No prayer, and no weapons.

What these do:

No retreat means that you have to fight till the end till someone dies.

No prayer means that you are not allowed to pray while dueling.

No magic means that Magic is not allowed in a duel and cant be used.

No weapons means You are not allowed to use weapons or ARMOUR.

So once you are done deciding what you want to use, and what you don't want to use, do accept.

Here is a picture of this:

Dueling Options

Next, you are now on the second dueling page. First thing, make sure that if you are staking, who you are fighting is not trying to scam you and took out his stake without you noticing.

Look over whats allowed and whats not, and if you find this is what you want, and its a fair stake, do accept once more to start the duel.

A Real Dueler

Remember to always be a good sport when you win or lose, and don't be rude to the person. don't complain if you lose and beg for your stuff back, remember they wouldn't have gave your stuff back, and you won it fair and square. If you lose because someone mages, don't get upset because it's you who didn't mind putting magic off. Don't call someone a noob or something like that for not wanting to stake, or losing, or if you are angry and you lose. Remember just because you stake not everybody does.

A Successful Dueler

When a dueler stakes good things, they usually pot up. What this means is that they buy super sets and drink them to be better in duels. When they have found another staker they will pot up before fighting. These also are mostly very good at pray, and will pray while fighting.

Often pures stake, so watch out to who you are fighting, you would rather the person with pure in there name wearing rune armour then the person waring no armour who does not have pure in his name, because mostly these are people who have really high strength and can hit amazing numbers on you.

Fair dueling:

A fair duelist is honest, and will not try to scam you. People offen say ill start bare until i'm at half hp, but they don't so do not believe people like this, and do not try to pull this.

Dueling spots

Mostly people will come up to you and say want to stake? And they will pot up. and be ready, looking for unknowing people who don't have pots. The best place to duel is Lumbridge. I like to call Lumbridge the dueling city (world because it is always packed with duelers, funs, and stakers.

Ups and downs of dueling:

Dueling has many ups, and many downs to it. Here are some for each category.

Ups

  • It is fun.
  • You could get rich.
  • If you are poisoned or almost dead, someone can kill you so you can heal and are cured of poison.
  • Instead of wasting runes you can just die to get to lumbridge.
  • It is a good way to build character.
  • You could get some close friends.

Downs

  • People lose armour, weapons, and armour.
  • People become babies who complain if they lose.
  • People are rude to you if you don't stake sometimes and call you a wimp and a noob.

There are always scammers trying to rip people off. People lie about how they are going to fight. (With no armour, but they do use armour)

I hope that this guide has been helpful, and you now have a new point of view about dueling.
