Fire Runes :

This is the FASTEST way guaranteed to make your fire runes. Here's what you'll need:

• A good load of rune essence and rings of dueling/emeralds, gold bars and runes in bank (having a load of rings of dueling works better).
• Willingness to burn rings of dueling, FAST.
• A fire talisman.
• Consistency.
• And of course, a good runecrafting level (the higher the better).

Here are the steps:

• Get a fire talisman, a ring of dueling, and 26 rune essence.
• Craft the fire runes at the temple (it's just west of the dueling arena on the other side of the fence).
• Now, teleport to CASTLEWARS with your ring of dueling.
• Bank the fire runes and get 26 more essence.
• Teleport back to the Dueling Arena with your essence.
• Craft the fires again, teleport to Castlewars, and repeat the steps until satisfied.

Notes:

If you're planning on crafting a large amount of fire runes, you'd better have a good amount of rings of dueling set up, or you'll be delayed.

Being successful in this routine may also mean having a good runecrafting level. You'll probably want more than just 26 fire runes on each run. This routine is the fastest UNLESS you have a rune runner.

Water Runes:

Here is the guide on how to make water runes the fastest provided you don't want to use a runner. Fairly good crafting and magic will be required for this to work the fastest. The crafting is for making a sapphire necklace, and the magic is for enchanting it. Good runecrafting may also be helpful so you can generate more runes at a time.

• Charge an ammy of glory and make a Burthorpe games necklace.
• Get a water talisman, and 26 rune essence.
• Teleport to Draynor Village with the ammy of glory.
• Go to the water temple in the southern part of the swamps, just east of the bridge to the wizard tower.
• Craft the water runes.
• Teleport back to Draynor Village with your ammy of glory. Bank the waters, and start over again from step 4 until satisfied. When your ammy of glory runs out of charges, teleport to Burthorpe with your games necklace and go the the Guild of Heroes to recharge it. Then, of course, teleport back to Draynor Village and continue from step 4. If these steps are done correctly, you should be able to craft waters 3 times before having to recharge your ammy of glory.

Note:

Instead of having to continually recharge your ammy of glory after every 3 runs, you can just buy a lot of ammies of glory and switch them at the bank in Draynor once one runs out. This is, however, a bit more expensive but faster.

Water Tiara Style:

• Do Lost City
• Grab your Dramen Staff (Boots of Lightness if you want) and Water Tiara
• Go to the water altar and craft the runes
• Go into Zanaris, and run to the bank
• Deposit water runes, and head back to the entrance of Zanaris
• Climb the ladder
• You will come out in the swamp, so run BACK to the water altar (south), and repeat as necessary.
