RuneScape Cheats:Lumbridge City Guide

Lumbridge. City of the Newbies. Lumbridge is where it all begins for everyone's journey in the mighty world of Runescape. If you're starting out or have been killed in the Wilderness, Duel, Monster, etc, this is where you'll end up.

It's a friendly place, where the Duke of rules over the land with a heart of gold. You can gossip with the locals or just go kick some goblin behind. Lumbridge is a good place to roam around in since it has a lot to do and see. It's definitely worth your while to spend some time to get familiar with Lumbridge. You'll be seeing a lot of it.

1. Lets start in the heart of the city. The General Store. It's always full of useless trinkets that the local newbies find and immediately sell to the Store Clerks. You can find the basic supplies that any adventurer needs. The shop stocks pots, jugs, shears, buckets, tinderboxes, chisels, hammers, and sleeping bags. Anything else you find there is something that the clerks have bought from a local adventurer.

2. Right behind the General Store, you will feast your eyes on the majestic castle where the Duke of Lumbridge lives. Men like to roam the courtyard and sometimes get into fights. Be careful! Their feisty ones! Inside, you can talk to the castle cook and start the 'Cook's Assistant' quest. Once you finish it, you can use the range within there as well. The ladder that leads down from the kitchen contains two chests, a couple of cabbages, and a pair of boots in the cellar. Nothing is in the chests. Don't forget to talk to Hans, the castle servant, in the north end of the castle. He's a funny ole' chap!

On the 2nd floor of the castle, which can be accessed by one of two ladders in the castle, you can talk to the Duke of Lumbridge himself! He gives you the Anti-Dragon Breath shield for the 'Dragon Slayer' quest. Also, in the Duke's bedroom, is a bronze dagger respawns. There is also a guest in the next room. You may have noticed one other ladder on each side when you came to the 2nd floor. One leads to a spinning wheel for wool and another leads to around 5 log respawns.

3. Right outside the castle across from the church and down the road is an air rune respawn in a house and Bob's Axe Shop! Seen the fliers flying around? Well this is what those are for! Bob sells bronze pick axes, bronze axes, iron axes, steel axes, iron battle axes, steel battle axes, and mithril battle axes! How good can ya get?

4. North of the castle, you'll find a little house near the northern bridge. It is really a furnace hut to smelt your ores into bars. Pretty neat for Lumbridge. Right across the bridge, you can even go fishing. Be sure to have a fishing rod, though!

5. Let's go across the bridge. You'll find a Border Guard guarding a gate. You have to pay 10 gp to go through the gate, which leads to Al Karid. If you have done the 'Prince Ali Rescue' quest, then you can go through for free! Go across the road a little north of the gate and you'll find a house in the woods with lots of goblins in and around it. It's the goblin house and it has an iron dagger respawn in it.

6. At the most northern part of Lumbridge, you'll find a cow field and a chicken coop. Inside the house near the chicken coop is a bucket respawn. Right north of the cow field is a potato field. Mmm...

Hope you've learned a little more about Lumbridge. Now you can enjoy it without the hassle of trying to find certain things!
