RuneScape Cheats:TzHaar City

Introduction:

Beneath the Karamja Volcano, there is a dungeon, which contains a city ruled by ancient and powerful beings. This city is known as the TzHaar City, and contains a wealth of resources and two exciting minigames. Mine gold, and use the natural lava forge to smith it, or challenge the powerful Tztok-Jad to get a fire cape. Kill other players in the Fight Pits, or use the various monsters that roam the city to train you combat, while possibly getting a few drops of various obsidian weaponry and armour along the way. The entrance to this city can be found by going to the free part of Karamja, climbing down the rope that is attached to the rocks near the summit of the volcano, and once down there, going through the very first dungeon sign you see.

  1. TzHaar-Hur-Tel's Equipment Store:
This shop buys and sells the obsidian weaponry and armour.

    TzHaar-Hur-Tel's Equipment Store

In the table below you will see the translation for each of the weapons sold in the equipment store.

    Weapon Name Translation
    Toktz-xil-ul Obsidian Ring
    Toktz-xil-ak Obsidian Sword
    Toktz-ket-xil Obsidian Shield
    Toktz-xil-ek Obsidian Knife
    Toktz-mej-tal Obsidian Staff
    TzHaar-ket-em Obsidian Mace
    TzHaar-ket-om Obsidian Maul
    Obsidian Cape Obsidian Cape

The second word in the name of the weapon is the name of the monster that will drop it. For example, the TzHaar-Ket-om is the Obsidian Maul, and is only dropped by the TzHaar-kets, which are level 149.

  2. TzHaar-Hur-Lek's Ore and Gem Store:
All types of uncut gems and all types of ore can be bought and sold here.

  3. TzHaar city Bank:
It contains no booths; only one npc that can open up your bank account.

  4. The Fight Pits Mini-Game:
It is essentially a last-man-standing wins game. Quite simply, you have to kill off all of the other players to win. If you win, you will get a red skull, like the one shown below.

    Red Skull

This picture was taken through the viewing orbs, which allow for you to watch the action even after you have been killed. This is the view through the orb:

When you are viewing, the area where your inventory would normally be looks like this:

    Viewing Options

To change the area of the cave that you are viewing, simply click on one of the other orbs. The one that is white is the one that you are currently viewing through.

  5. The Lava Forge:
It is exactly what the name says it is. A forge that uses lava. You can smelt metals here, and combined with the nearby gold and silver rocks, it makes the city a great place to craft.

  6. Mine:
This is a mine which contains three gold and three silver rocks in it.

The type of rock matches the color of the dot on the map below:

  7. Fairy Ring:
This is a fairy ring that can be used to teleport here after completion of the Fairy tale part 2 - Cure A Queen quest. You must be wearing a Dramen Staff to be able to use these fairy rings. The code for this ring is BLP.

  8. Fight Caves:
This is a completely combat-based 'safe' minigame, much like the fight pits. You fight sixty-three waves of monsters, varying in level from 22 up to 702. If you are successful, you will be rewarded with some amount of TokKul and a fire cape, which is a non-tradeable cape which adds +11 to all defense stats, +4 to strength, +2 to prayer, and +1 to all attack stats. It is also the only animated cape in the game. A complete guide of this Mini-Game can be found Here.

And here is the TzHaar summary:

  9. TzHaar-Mej-Roh's Rune Shop:
This shop sells all the runes up to and including death, with the exception of natures and astral, for TokKul

Other Notes:

Sulphur Vents:

Also, spread throughout the city are sulphur vents, which allow for the cooking of food. There is even one close to the bank, which makes training the cooking skill relatively easy.

TokKul:

The different shops in the TzHaar city will buy the same things that they sell, but at approximately one-tenth of the sale price. The official currency of the TzHaar city is TokKul, and none of the shops will accept gp as payment. There are several ways of obtaining tokkul, though. One sure way is to start killing the various monsters that roam the city. Here is a list of the various monsters:

  • TzHaar-Hur: level 74 craftsmen, if you attack them, they will call on other monsters to help them.
  • TzHaar-Mej: Level 103 mages, if attacked, they will call on other monsters to help them. They drop the staffs.
  • TzHaar-Xil: Level 133, some range, some melee (none use both) they drop capes, swords, rings, and daggers.
  • TzHaar-Ket: Level 149, all melee, they drop capes, shields, mauls, and maces all monsters drop some number of TokKul, varying from 2 to over 100.

Please note that the monster will not always drop TokKul, but it is far more likely that you will get TokKul than a shield, cape, or maul.

These monsters are dangerous if fought hand to hand without at least full rune armour and a dragon weapon. There is one place in the city that allows for range, mage, or melee training with a halberd, and that is near the two gold rocks that are nearest to the bank. If done correctly, a monster can be lured into such a position that it cannot hit you, but you can use range, mage, or a halberd to hit it. All of the monsters are non-aggressive until attacked.

*NOTE* a cannon cannot be set up in the city, because it is too hot.

As mentioned before, the level 103, 133, and 149 monsters all drop different weapons and armour. These items are tradable between players, and in some cases quite valuable. For information on the current street prices for these items, check out the items database.
