Welcome to my city guide for Sophanem. Here is a map of the place and its inhabitants.

Once you inside the walls you can no longer be affected by the hot desert so desert robes can be removed.
To get inside you must talk to the strange old woman where the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest starts.

Places

1. Klenter's pyramid, used in the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest.



2. Priest 'Temple', as it's name suggests, it filled with priests including the High Priest who is an important person in the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest.



3. Linen works, linen worker inside are used during the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest. There is a spinning wheel inside too.



4. Carpentry Shop, after Icthlarin's Little Helper quest, the carpenter will buy willow logs off you for 40gp each. There is a spinning wheel inside also.



5. Temple to the Lesser Gods, this can be used as a bank upon completion of the Contact! quest.



6. House of the Embalmer, used in Icthlarin's Little Helper quest, there is a book upstairs used in it.



7. Gates, you can't go through them due to the plague. Typical!



People

• Slaves, these people don't have much point. They're happy when you've not done the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest but annoyed when you have.
  
• Plagued Cow, you can only pet these and the reply you get is a pathetic attempt of a moo.
  
• Plagued Frog, these are level 11 and have 10 hitpoints.
  
• Locust, these are level 18 and have 27 hitpoints.
  
• Random people, these consist of; linen workers (used during Icthlarin's Little Helper quest), Carpenter (also used during the quest and when done you can sell willow logs to him for 40gp each) and also embalmer (once again used in Icthlarin's Little Helper).
  
• Priests, not much use, but they are needed a bit in the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest.
  
• High Priest, Same as above but a bit more to do with quest.
  
• Sphinx, Yet again used for the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest. So many people...
  
• Klenter, he is a ghost and is the one you must give a proper burying in the Icthlarin's Little Helper quest.
