RuneScape Cheats:Dorgesh-Kaan

First, you need to know how to get there! Please note that you do have to complete the Death to the Dorgeshuun quest in order to get here. The most common way to get to town would be by talking to Mistag, who is located in the tunnels under the Lumbridge castle, and having him escort you to the Goblin Mines. From the mines head south until you see this door.

Entrance

You can also use Oldaks' sphere's to teleport back to the city. (See the section entitled Oldak' for more information on how to get these spheres.) Upon the completion of the Another Slice of H.A.M. quest, you can also take a train from Keldagrim to Dorgesh-kaan. The train is located on the second floor, on the far west side of the town.

City map:
Here is a map of the main places and people in Dorgesh-Kaan.

Market Area

As you make your way south into the town, you will find a sprawling market area full of Goblins. There are numerous amounts of Goblin merchants you can buy or sell goods from.

  1. Miltog's Lamps

In the northern part of the market area, you should find Miltog. He will take care of all your lighting needs. He will be the one that is shouting out "Torches" and "Lanterns."

    Lamps

  2. Reldak's Leather Armour

Towards the middle of the market is the seller of Frog-leather Armour, Reldak. He will be the one that is shouting out "Frog-leather" and "Armour."

  3. Lurgon's General Store

Wandering up and down the market is the owner of the general store, Lurgon.

  4. Goblin foods

In the southern area of the market, there are a number of goblins that will sell to you different types of fine goblin foods ranging from Frogburgers to Wall beast fingers. Any of these foods cost 10 coins each.

  5. Selling to Gourmet's

Throughout the market area, there are 4 goblins with the name Gourmet. They will buy from you "exotic surface foods"; however you need to negotiate the price. Before you can sell them any food, you will need to get permission from one of the goblin council members, usually found in the northern area of the city.

Bank

North of the market area and directly west of the entrance to the city is the bank, every town needs one.

Barlak

The update of Dorgesh-Kaan brought into the game two new bones, the Long bone and the Curved bone. If you run across these bones in your adventures, you can bring them to Barlak, and he will greatly reward you. His house is located in the western area of the city. If you bring him a Long bone, he will reward you with 1k coins and 1.5k construction experience. However if you bring to him one of the more rare Curved bones, he will reward you with 2k coins and 2.2k construction experience provided you have level 30 construction or above. He will also give you a payment of 600 coins if you bring to him a Tortoise shell, Snail shell, or a Perfect snail shell. However, if you manage to bring him a Perfect snail shell, he will also reward you with a 500 crafting experience bonus.

Oldak

If you don?¡¯t want to walk all the way to Dorgesh-Kaan, then you should pay Oldak a visit. If you bring to him 2 Law runes and some molten glass, he will give you an orb that allows you to teleport back to the city. You can bring him a full inventory of molten glass with the corresponding amount of law runes, and he will make you all of the orbs at once. The orbs are stackable and have one use. When used, you are teleported to a random house in Dorgesh-Kaan. After completing the quest Another Slice of H.A.M., Oldak can also craft you an orb that'll teleport you to the Goblin Village, which is north of Falador. This still requires 2 law runes and 1 molten glass. And, after you finish the Land of the Goblins quest, you'll be able to make orbs that will teleport you to the Plain of Mud.

Magical Lamps

Occasionally, magical orbs that power the dozens of lamps in Dorgesh-Kaan will break. Who better to fix the lamps then a hero like yourself? First you need to make a Dorgeshuun lightorb by using molten glass with a glassblowing pipe, 87 crafting required. Then you need to add a brass filament, obtained from this wire machine in the south-western area of the city.

Next you need to try and find a broken orb, usually located in any one of the goblins house.

Broken lamp

Once you find a broken orb, use your newly completed light orb with it (52 firemaking required) to fix it and receive a 1k firemaking experience bonus.

A Special Furnace

In the south western part of the city is the home of Bartak, the local smith. The furnace in his house isn?¡¯t just any old furnace, it?¡¯s a special crafting furnace used only for molten glass and crafting jewelry. Simply use your sand and soda ash or jewelry supplies with the furnace to start using it. The close sand pit and hand supply of swamp weed for soda ash in the cavern make this a nice place to do a bit of glass blowing. While the furnace can only handle delicate metals, the anvil in his house can be use for any kind of metal smithing.

Quests

Currently the only quest that can be started in Dorgesh-Kaan is Another Slice of H.A.M. You can start it by talking to Ambassador Alvijar, located in the north-eastern part of the city on the second level.

Quest start

South Dorgesh-Kaan Cavern

What good would a city be without its own cavern to explore? On the upper levels in the most southern part of the city is the beginning of the cavern, right next to beginning of the agility course. Please note you do need a light source to explore this cavern.

Cavern

In this cavern you can find a varied number of slayer monsters including Cave Bugs (level 6 and level 96), Rockslugs, Cave Crawlers, Cave Slime, and Molanisk. There are also Giant and Big Frogs in the cavern. The level 96 Cave bugs and the Molanisk drop Swamp Weed which can be used in place of seaweed in making molten glass. Located at both the north-west and north-east parts of the cavern are two fishing spots where slimy eels can be caught. Located near the south-western area of the cavern is a shortcut leading directly into the Kalphite Lair. Here is a small picture of the mini map of the door in the cavern, and where you come out at in the lair. This passage is able to be taken both ways.

KQ DK

Note: that you enter in the beginning parts of the Kalphite Lair, not directly at the Queen, so no risk is taken directly in using this shortcut.

Agility Course

Also in the southern area of the city is the beginning of the agility course. A light source and 70 Agility required. The course has 2 paths, one of which requires 70 Ranged, a mithril grapple and a crossbow. The other path requires 70 strength.
Before starting, visit Turgall to the East of the course; he'll ask you to bring him one of two items from the other end of the course, one must be taken through the grapple path and one through the tunnel path, it's your choice which object and path to take.
For bringing back the object you will receive an additional Agility bonus, as well as a Ranged bonus if you use the grapple path.
The grapple path (one way) gives in itself 54 Agility, 54 Ranged and 54 Strength experience, with a 571 Ranged experience bonus.
The tunnel path (one way) gives 159 Agility experience and 1.216 Agility experience bonus.
If you fail you will fall to the bottom of the cave and take some (up to 8?) damage; you will then have to run north, climb the steps and start over - if you fall with an object it will be damaged and you'll have to get another one.
As lightweight dressing as possible is recommended.

All your thieving needs

If crafting or selling items doesn?¡¯t suit your fancy, there is always a bit of thievery to be done. If you choose to pickpocket the citizens of the city, you will need a Thieving level of 36. The loot you can receive from them varies from goblin food to a little bit of money. There are also chests that can be looted on the second floor, in goblins homes. You will need a picklock a Thieving level of 52 or 78. Again the look is varied from coins, to gems, to pieces of frog armour. If you?¡¯re lucky you can even get a complete light orbs!

Closure

We hope you enjoyed your stay in Dorgesh-Kaan and that you found enough to do here to keep you coming back to the city for more!
