Description: Deep beneath the earth, Juna the Serpent has guarded the Tears of Guthix for three thousand years.

If adventurers can relieve her boredom with an entertaining story, she will let them into the cave to collect the tears. But first she has a short task for them to do.

Items Needed: 2 Bullseye lanterns, Tinderbox, Chisel, Sapphire, Pickaxe, and a Rope. Note: A Rope is only needed if you haven't descended down into the Lumbridge Swamp Dungeon before.

Items recommended: Spiny helmet, Food and an Antipoison are recommended for lower leveled players.

Items acquired during the quest: Sapphire lantern, Magic stone (Tears of Guthix), Stone bowl.

Reward: 1000 Crafting Exp, and access to the Tears of Guthix cave.

Start Point: The Tears of Guthix cave, deep beneath the Lumbridge Swamp.

To Start: Speak to Juna

1. Make your way to the Lumbridge Swamp and enter the Lumbridge Swamp Dungeon. Put on your Spiny helmet to ward off attacks from Wall Beasts (level 49). Head over to the very end with the Giant Frogs, then jump across the stepping stone and enter the tunnel. Follow the path downward to Juna.
   
   
   
   
2. Speak with Juna and tell her a story about your recent adventures she asks you for. She will now let you enter the Tears of Guthix cave. However to catch the tears you will need a bowl crafted from a magical stone, mined at from a special rock.
   
   
3. Go back a little to the where all the Light Creatures are. Light up your second Bullseye lantern and then extinguish your Bullseye lantern. Use the cut sapphire with the unlit Lantern to produce a Sapphire Lantern.
   
   
4. Use the Sapphire lantern with one of the Light Creatures, it then will come to you and take you to the location with the rocks.
   
   
   
   
5. Mine a rock for the Magic stone, use the chisel with it to craft a Stone bowl.
   
   
   
   
6. Use your Sapphire lantern again on one the Light Creatures to get back to the other site. Head back to Juna to complete the quest.

Tears of Guthix Mini-game:

This is a completely safe Mini-Game, there is nothing that can kill or damage you. This Mini-game allows you to train your lowest skill by collecting as many tears as possible.

You can use this Mini-Game once a week and must have at least gained 1 quest point or 100000 exp that week. Checking your quest history for Tears of Guthix will tell you how long it will be before you can do this mini game again.

The time you have to collect the tears is determined on the amount of quest points you have, 1 quest point equals 1 second in the room. The amount of exp per tear is determined on what level your lowest skill is, from level 30 on the amount of exp per tear is 60 exp, below level 30 the exp per tear will be different, the formula for this is not found just yet.
