Start Point: Cave Goblin Mines

To Start: Speak to Grubfoot

  1. Head over to the Cave Goblin Mines below Lumbridge and talk to Grubfoot. You will learn that Grubfoot has been denied access to Dorgesh-Kaan by Mistag because he is a surface goblin. Tell Mistag you will take responsibility for Grubfoot, and he will allow you both into the City.

    Start

  2. Once in the city, head northwest to Oldak's workshop and talk to Zanik. Grubfoot will recall his dream about Yu'biusk, the Land of the Goblins, and will tell you of a secret Temple of Goblins. Oldak will then teleport you and Zanik there.

    Zanik

    Dream

  3. Head northwest through the cave until you reach some stairs and Goblin guards. Attempt to climb them and they will not let you, but they will, however, allow Zanik to enter.

    Guard

  4. Return to Dorgesh-Kaan and speak to Oldak. He will send you to speak to the Makeover Mage in Falador.

  5. Go to the Make-over Mage southwest of Falador and tell him or her that you wish to become a goblin. Remember not to tell him or her the secret! The Make-over Mage will eventually give you some Pharmakos berries.

    Mage

  6. Make a Goblin potion by adding Toadflax and the Pharmakos berries to a vial of water, then return to the Goblin Guards in the Cave next to the Fishing Guild.

    Entrance

  7. Unequip all your items and drink a dose of the Goblin potion. Choose any goblin form, then speak to the guards using Goblin-speak. You will receive a Goblin name and will be granted entry.

  8. Once in the temple, head north and speak to the High priest about Zanik. He will tell you that she has been taken into custody in the Huzamogaarb tribe's dungeon.

    High Priest

  9. Speak to the High Priest again and ask about Yu'biusk. Tell him you are ready to take his test, and he will ask you these questions:

    Q. True or false: those who do not believe in Big High War God, whether they goblins or other races, must die.
    A. True
    Q. Oh? Why?
    A. The Big High War God Commands it.
    Q. True or false: Big High War God chose goblins to be his race because goblins mighty warriors.
    A. False.
    Q. Oh? Why you say that?
    A. Goblins were not mighty warriors before he chose us.
    Q. True or false: goblin leaders should be good at planning in order to win battles.
    A. False.
    Q. Why not?
    A. That's one of the commandments.
    Q. Prophecy say some day Big High War God send Chosen Commander. What Chosen Commander do?
    A. Lead Goblins to victory over the whole world.

  10. Now the High Priest will answer your questions. He will tell you that the location of Yu'biusk was known only by a former High Priest called Snothead who is now dead. However the current High Priest has a way to speak to him. He will also tell you that to gain access to his crypt, you will need to collect 6 keys (one from each of the tribal areas in the Temple). To get access to the tribal areas, simply dye goblin mail different colors.

    Priest

  11. You need a Yellow, Orange, Purple, Blue, Black, and White dyes and a Goblin mail. You can buy assorted dyes from Lletya if you have begun the Mournings End Part 1 Quest, or from the Legends Guild if you have completed Legends Quest.

  12. To get Black dye, pick a Black mushroom from nearby the entrance to the Goblin Temple, then grind it into a vial with a pestle and mortar. If you bought a couple of slimy eels, you can skip the next step to get White dye and head straight to Hemenster (little city near the Ranging Guild). To get White dye, speak to Aggie in Draynor. She will tell you that you need a Whitefish. First fish some Slimy eels at the fishing spots in Mort Myre Swamp or the Lumbridge Swamp Dungeon (Enter the Lumbridge Caves from the basement of the Lumbridge castle east. Head south to enter the Swamp Dungeon, then head east to get to the slimy eel fishing spots). This requires a Fishing rod and bait. You might end up catching cave eels more, so be sure to have enough bait. Once you have the slimy eels, go to Hemenster and try to enter the gate. Say you need to catch a Whitefish and they will let you in. Catch one and then return to Aggie to get the White goblin mail.

  13. Return to the Goblin Temple and enter each of the six areas. Since your goblin mail is now colored white, enter the White tribal area first (west area in the temple) by wearing your White goblin mail and pickpocket the Priest in that area to get a key. Do the same for the rest of the areas. In the black area, talk to Zanik in prison and she will tell you to search the nearby crate for her Moving-Over-Distance sphere. Do so and give it to her, and she will teleport away.

    Jail

  14. Once you have all six keys, go to the bank and get your weapons, armor, and food. Return to the Goblin Temple and use the keys on the door behind the High Priest. You will then find yourself in the High Priest Crypt, and you can wear your armor in here.

  15. Say Snothead's name at the correct grave and he will rise from the grave and attack you. Once you defeat him, ask him where Yu'biusk is. He will say he does not know, but that his predecessor might know. Ask him the name of his predecessor, and he'll tell you it's Snailfeet.

    Fight

  16. Find Snailfeet's crypt and repeat the process. When you ask him where Yu'biusk is, he will tell you that he doesn't know, but that his predecessor, Mosschin might know. Make sure you ask him the name of his predecessor.

  17. Find Mosschin's crypt and repeat the process. He uses both Melee and Range, and knows a little more about Yu'biusk, but on questioning refers you to his predecessor, Redeyes.

  18. Redeyes uses both Melee and Magic, and reveals that he was told that no living Goblin has ever returned to Yu'biusk, but that the dead may be able to. He will tell you to speak with his predecessor, Strongbones, a priest of Big High War God's army, and a proficient in Mage.

  19. Strongbones is the most difficult of all the Undead High Priests in this room, as he calls forth four or five Skeletons to aid him as he fights. Ignore the skeletons and only fight Strongbones. When he has been defeated, Strongbones tells you that Yu'biusk is on another plane of existence to RuneScape and that no Goblin alive has ever been there.

    Fight 2

  20. Return to Oldak's workshop in Dorgesh-Kaan and speak to Zanik. Oldak and Zanik believe they can get to Yu'biusk using the Fairy Rings, and tell you to meet them at the Fairy Ring south of the Dorgesh-Kaan Agility Couse (Code: AJQ).

  21. Once there, adjust the machine so that the power combination is 9, 4, 1. When you've gotten it right, you and Zanik will be transported to Yu'biusk. The place is now desolate and barren, thanks to the Big High War God.

  22. Head northwest and you will eventually come across a Strange Box. Open it and Zanik will be pulled in. A cutscene will ensue in which you rush back to the portal right before it closes, leaving Zanik behind. Oldak will tell you that there is no way you can get back to Yu'biusk to rescue her using the Fairy Rings. Yu'biusk can be accessed through the Fairy Rings with the code BLQ.

    Congratulations! Quest Complete!
