DescriptionThis is the third and final quest in the Seal of Shan-to-Kor series. It starts by entering the Halls of Shan-to-Kor after completing the Caverns of Shaagh quest.

The objective of this quest is to acquire the Seal of Shan-to-Kor. This is in the possession of the Guardian of Shan-to-Kor. To reach him you must fight through a number of hobgoblins and spiders, and a plethora of traps. A rogue is almost a requirement on this mission. Fire protection also comes in handy. There are some tricks that can help groups without rogues though.

For example, the bridge marked #2 on our map can be lowered by shooting an arrow onto it's trigger on the other side.

In the hall next to the first rest shrine there are three acid traps. If you hug the right hand side they will not activate though. There is another ramp towards the end with cold traps. Hugging the left hand side will avoid those.

The next area, marked #4 on our map, features two levers which you need to pull. This is difficult because there are hobgoblin spell casters throughout the room that can tear you to pieces. There is also a fire trap on the ladder up, so you should use fire protection/immunity on the player who moves up to activate that switch.

The worst trap though is the fire trap room, marked #4 on our map. Immunity/Protection from fire, combined with hugging the right side wall can get you by this trap without disabling it.

Moving past this you come to some frost traps, which can be avoided by hugging the left hand wall.

Shortly after these is the Guardian of Shan-to-Kor. The Guardian of Shan-to-Kor fight is fun. As he becomes damaged two earth elementals will spawn at different intervals and attack you. When all three are dead the chests become lootable and the quest is complete. You can then return to Wayfinder Dael for your rewards.
