  • DescriptionThis is the first quest in the Seal of Shan-to-Kor series from Wayfinder Dael in the Marketplace. It takes place in the Kobolds' Blockade in the Steam Tunnels.

    The goal of this quest is to slay Amrog and the entrance to the zone used in the second part of the quest.

    Upon entering the dungeon your first objective point is to reach point #2. Before you reach it though you will see forks to the east and west on the map. The eastern fork has two intelligence runes that must be activated in order to obtain access to the Wight Priest and his chest. The western fork has a chest that when looted will spawn a trap of Kobolds that gives optional experience.

    Point #2 features three levers which can be twisted to open the gates in the water below you. You can swim through here (#3) and up the ladder to reach point #4.

    You will need to smash some crates and then jump over boxes to receive the update and reach point #4. It is recommended that you use this rest shrine because you can not get back up to it afterwards.

    Point #4 is a portal hole down. You must jump down the hole, trying to catch the break points to minimize teh damage taken. Feather fall is not needed but you will take falling damage without it.

    At the bottom of this fall is a puzzle. Your goal is to light up all of the four pillars by making the light run to them. You do this by rotating the tiles on the floor. Once all four pillars are lit then a hole in the floor opens to let you progress deeper.

    You are now in the undead section. There is a rest shrine nearby, but you should probably save it until after clearing the undead. There is a nasty Arcane Skeleton and Wraith in this area. The iron key is marked on our map and is required to point #5. There is another locked door that leads to the wraith, that must be picked. Before you go down the hole you will come across a trapped chest that will spawn some monsters. Kill them and then break down the breakable door to he right to reach the human necromancer, who gives alternate exeprience. After this you will notice the ladder down deeper. This is when we'd recommend you use the shrine, as you can not come back up.

    The lower level includes a trapped door which will close behind you and open after you clear the room of Troglodytes. Beyond this are more troglodytes and a door which must have the valve at point #5 twisted to open.

    Progressing deeper you will come to some spiders, and a couple of drop downs that have you leaping between mushrooms. Finally you come to Amrog and his guards. After killing them you should use the ladder and jump across the mushrooms on the left, as there is a chest hidden over there. Finally walk back across his bridge and to the entrance of the second dungeon. Click through to start the second quest.
