Since the release of The Reign of the Fire Drake, a new system of upgrading was implemented. The Rebirth System gives players a new upgrading option when it comes to armor and weapons. This system of upgrading allows better probabilities when upgrading. However, only certain items may undergo Rebirthing:

High class items that are +7 or above that were high class grade at +1.

Unique items that are +7 or above.
When Rebirthing a normal or unique item, its upgrade level will change:

Existing +7 item -> Rebirth +1 item

Existing +8 item -> Rebirth +5 item

Existing +9 item -> Rebirth +11 item

Existing +10 item -> Rebirth +21 item
