We're still missing some materials to make the compass, mostly those involved in a complicated refining process. I don't have that kind of time right now, but there is one shortcut. I wouldn't usually go this route, but there may be no other choice... I'll need twenty-five Spriggan Daggers. Those daggars are made of the same material I need for the compass. I can melt down the daggers in a blast furnace. You could get twenty-five Spriggan Daggers using your Ransacking skill on the Redflag Sentries east of the Death Plains.
