This contest will run from December 6th until December 28th at noon PST.

Two true statements:

1. The PWI player population is not only incredibly dedicated to the game, but also extremely talented artistically.

2. As epic as the current PWI loading screens are, we can understand that human beings need variety.

Taking these two statements into account, there is only one possible conclusion: We need to have a PWI Loading Screen Contest.

That's right, we're going to actually replace one of the current PWI loading screens with a player-made design, and since we want this to be a dynamic thing, we're going to make it seasonal. So we'll start off with Winter, and if everyone likes it, we'll then proceed through Spring, Summer, and Fall!

So here we go!

What is a Loading Screen?

A loading screen is what you see on various occasions while playing PWI. You'll see it when you first load up the game, when you enter or exit an instance, and when you exit back to the character-select screen. A typical PWI loading screen looks like this.

Rules

Entry must be size 1280*1024 pixels.

Entry must be Winter-themed.

Entry must be submitted to the PWI Fan Content Page by December 28th at noon PST. It must be submitted into the "Contest" Category.

Creator can use any image-editing tools they like.

Entry cannot contain any copyrighted content that is not from Perfect World International.

Prizes

There will be one(1) Grand Prize winner and five(5) Runner-Ups for this contest.

• The joy of seeing his or her loading screen within PWI's loading screen rotation as well as all of the fame, fortune, and attention of potential mates that this would certainly bring.
