Begin the game with 32 Points - 4 more than the standard 28 Point Build, granting more hitpoints and spellpoints, allowing use of better equipment, improving your effectiveness in battle, and more! You can unlock 32 Point Builds on a server by earning 1750 favor with one character, or unlock it across all servers by buying 32 Point Builds in the DDO Store.

Start a new character at level 4 and skip ahead to the action of DDO a little bit earlier! You can access Veteran Status by earning 1,000 favor with a character level 4 or higher, or get it across all servers by buying Veteran Status in the DDO Store. Read a guide to Veteran Status here

Use Lesser Reincarnation to fix past mistakes or try something new! Re-spend your character’s ability and skill points, or change your feat or spell selection without having to start over from scratch. Use +1, +3, or the limited time only +5 Lesser Hearts of Wood to swap levels of one class for another in addition!

True Reincarnate to achieve new power by replacing your level 20 character with a new level 1 character that has more build points to spend on stats (ability scores) and extra feats that add bonuses from your past life. Re-experience DDO through the eyes of a new race or class, and earn DDO’s ultimate achievement, the Completionist Feat!

Bring new life to your earliest characters, and make them more powerful in the process! Greater Reincarnation lets you update your “old” 28 Point Builds to 32 Point Builds, and re-spend your character’s ability and skill points or change your feat or spell selection. Use +1, +3, or the limited time only +5 Greater Hearts of Wood to swap levels of one class for another in addition!

Restore hitpoints and spellpoints, remove harmful effects and recharge abilities. Some classes can even swap out spells. If you need a shrine but none are available, check the DDO Store for Ethereal Rest Shrines which provide a “rest” opportunity for the entire party, or a Rest of the Eladrin to “rest” just your character!

Accelerate your character’s rise to glory by increasing the amount of XP you earn by 10% or 20%. XP Boost timers pause in public areas, so you don’t need to worry about the clock ticking away unless you’re actively questing! Make the most of your time by using XP Boosts, found in the DDO Store!

Outfit your character with the best gear by increasing your chances of finding something awesome. Loot boosts raise the potential level of treasure found in chests by 1, and can be great for earning that powerful piece of loot that’s just out of your reach.
