Return of the Elpy Invasion

These adorable little creatures have been sorely neglected by players as they mostly live in low-level areas of Aden where veteran players no longer roam. Recently, some elpies started to show up on Talking Island a couple of weeks ago, before hungry adventurers eradicated them. Now, it's time for the elpies to shine again! The Elpies From the Past GM event will take you back to zones that you knew in your character's early days, to places that will fill you with a sense of happy nostalgia. But this is not merely a trip down memory lane, for the Elpies will be dropping highly desirable items. Jack Sage, the Gift of Vitality mastermind, is working with the Lineage II staff to help plan this elpy celebration and to reward players while bringing them back to their roots!

How It Works

The Elpies From the Past GM Event will last one week, beginning on Monday, June 14, and ending in a finale on Sunday, June 20. Each daily session will consist of an announcement being made in-game around a certain time (see schedule) that will indicate where the masses of elpies can be found at that time. Players must travel quickly to that area and kill as many elpies as they can! (Don't worry, elpies have accepted their fate and are happy to sacrifice themselves so that you may be rewarded with loot!) Once that day's session is over, there will be a new, slightly different session the following day, at a different time. The scheduled times are based on the peak times of server regions. But don't fret if you play on a server different than your region, because this event will continue into the weekend so that all players will have opportunities to enjoy it, and the drops get better every day!

During these times, the GMs (Sace, Moxie, Cryo, Cabel, and others) will be very busy so it's likely that you won't see them around.

Ever-Increasing Loot Variety

Over the seven days of this GM Event, the loot gets better and better every day! (The materials dropped increase in quality every day. Some items also increase in quantity as the week progresses.) Check the schedule below to find out more or less what kind items you can find each day. To find out exactly what you'll get, you have to kill the elpies!

Event and Drops Schedule

All of the listed times are estimations. Start times will vary in increments of about 20 minutes because the GMs can start the event on only one server at a time. For example, if you play on Phoenix, your event could begin any time in the 2 hours scheduled for that day and it will depend on when the GMs reach your server in that time slot. The order of the visits will change every day.
