Since the launch of ToPII AT we have received lots of great suggestions and opinions from our enthusiastic testers. With all things being taken into consideration, we are now ready to announce the launch of the Closed Beta Test at 10:00pm EDT (GMT-4) on May 6th. All characters created during Closed Beta test will be saved for future use. During this period our officials will be giving out CB keys on the official website, on mirror sites and more. To obtain a CB Key, please keep one eye glued to our official website for all the latest news. We'll be also hosting a lot of fun in-game events during CB Test, so don't miss out!

ToPII is not the same old pirate game - rather its a whole new world with new and exciting things for our pirates to explore. As such, many of our testers have been coming to us with questions, and we thought it'd be good to share them so that everyone can learn more about the new Tales of Pirates II Closed Beta.

Q1: How can I participate in the Tales of Pirates II Closed-Beta Test?
A1: To enter, follow these steps:
1.If you don't have an IGG account, click here to register.
2.Claim a Closed-beta key on the official Tales of Pirates II site, if you want one click here.
3.Click here to activate Tales of Pirates II.
4.Download the ToP II client and install it on your computer. Click here to download the ToP II client.
5.Login to the game, download the latest patch, and start the game.

Q2: I was part of the ToP II Alpha Test; do I still need to activate the game?
A2: No, ToP II alpha testers can join in the Closed-beta test directly using their Alpha Test account.

Q3: I've installed the ToP II Alpha Test client, do I need to download the Closed-beta client?
A3: No, those who have already installed the Alpha Test client can now join the Closed-beta test by completing the auto-update or installing the manual patch.

Q4: Will you transfer ToP characters to ToP II?
A4: Not this time, ToP II is still in Closed-beta Testing and we want our players to join the test, create a new character, and experience the game from the very start so that we can find as many bugs as possible. We are considering allowing transfers of ToP character data to ToP II in the future, but for now, no.

Q5: When will you deal with the Class balance issue?
A5: We'll complete the Class balance improvements before the launch of the Closed-Beta client. That means players will be able to experience improved Classes during Closed-beta. But that is just one part of our Class modification plan, we have a few more modifications that we'll be adding to the game soon.
