Fellow GodsWar Supporters,

The newest version of GWO is scheduled for launch on March 5th, and we've got your guide to everything that's been changed, added, and madeover.

Level Cap Upgrade
The level cap for characters will be increased to Level 130.

Character Remake
All characters will receive a makeover, with higher-quality graphics and sharper details. Use launch.exe to select this new character look on your login screen.

New Map Settings
New settings will be added to the main cities and their New Player Villages. New players will spawn in their main city, and all the quest NPCs and event teleporters will be relocated to the New Player Village. The Wedding Hall will also be relocated.

New Mount System
No longer will players have to travel on foot. Veteran Greek Heroes can now saddle up on their favorite mount and head off into the sunset!

Details
1.When you reach Level 40, accept the quest in one of the main cities. After talking with the requisite NPC, you will obtain a book to learn the riding skill.
2. Follow the steps to start the next dialogue with the NPC, and claim the first Greek War Horse.
3. Press S to open the Skill Column, and drag your Ride Skill to the shortcut column.
4. Press B to open your Backpack, then drag the Greek War Horse to the slot on the Mount Column which is next to the Fashion Column.
5. Click on the Riding Skill, then go for a ride.

New Equipment
On the grade scale of equipment, Legendary and Mythical have been introduced to really push the upper boundaries of GWO hardware!

Details
1. Level 4 Crystals can be purchased from the in-game Mall and E-gold Merchant, at a price of 920 Gold or E-gold.
2. 4,500 Honor can now be exchanged for a Level 4 Crystal from the NPC Point Exchanger.
3. 10,000 Hard Points can now be exchanged for a Level 4 Sapphire from the NPC Point Exchanger.
4. Level 4 Sapphires are now exclusively used to forge Legendary and Mythical gear. Gems Level 3 or below will not help when forging Legendary and Mythical gear.
5. You will not be able to create Level 4 Sapphires and Crystals by compounding Level 3 gems.
6. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be added to prevent Level 1 through Level 6 Holy Boxes from downgrading after an upgrade failure.
7. Two brand new Class Suits will now be available. An equipment set can now be exchanged into a Class Suit, and previous class suits can be upgraded.
8. Level 10 Holy Stones will now be available.
9. A Crystal decomp service will be introduced as an option from the Gear Mentor in the main cities. Players can choose to have a Level 3 crystal decomposed to 4 Level 2 crystals, or 1 Level 2 crystal to 8 Level 1 crystals.

New Instance Setting
1. The number of player's allowed to enter all instances have been increased to 5.
2. The Medusa instance is accessible twice a day, while the new Atlantis instance will be available once a day. The rewards from the instances have also been increased accordingly.

Other Random New Things
1. An EXP Distributor will be introduced in the main cities. Character Level 51+ created before March 1st, 2010, can now expect rich Exp returns after March 5th. You can get some of the returned Exp everyday you log in, till all the Exp has been claimed.
2. The number of monsters that some high level quests required has been lowered to prevent unnecessary grinding. High level players can expect to have more chances to complete Level 2 Crystal/Emerald-seeking quests, so that they will be able to get what they need in less time.
3. Up Quests will be modified in a couple ways. The "+10" mark on the end of your acquired title will be removed. Players with the Up Quest title will get an extra 10% Exp after completing quests, instead of being able to receive more +10 quests.
4. A brand new 3D perspective feature will be introduced to some areas, including the main cities, the suburbs and the Pindus Mountains. Players must turn it on manually and they will then be able to change the perspective using the arrow arrow keys on their keyboard.
5. Quests scrolls of all kinds will no longer be available for purchase from the Item Mall or E-gold merchants.
6. Beware a change in the rules of the Treasure Land event. The event teleporter would get a player to the Treasure Land with 40 Wooden Tool, used to capture monsters later. A successful capture leads to a package, filled with a bunch of random items, which include gems, crystals, holy box, E-gold and potions.
