Fighting in the Arena-PK Guide

Now, before reading this article, you must think, am I already good at arena? Do I need to go any further? While thinking of these questions... OK JUST READ THIS ARTICLE!

Well, first of, you need to start thinking of your class and the benefits and disadvantages of each of them are. Once you can figure that out finding out the strategies is a piece of cake. Lets start with the classes strategies shall we?

Fire Taoist

This is the second to best class to be for this. You can obviously zap people which ranging is the best thing to do in the arena. You can have awesome magic damage because not many people focus on magic defense. And you can heal yourself which helps once in a while. The bad thing is though that you cannot fly.... You will get eaten (hehe) by archers if you cannot zap them in time while they circle around you still attacking.

Strategy: Jump around with the close combats while zapping, wait for archers to come to you to zap them, I will explain why in the archer section.

Water Taoist

This is ok. It's better than close combat classes but your attacks are not strong. You can heal yourself for a while but while doing so; your enemy is attacking you and racking up points. You can zap which is great like I mentioned before, but you only have up to the fire skill to attack. The disadvantages are that if you do not have a good star tower, you will get owned by most classes unless you can jump around very fast and strategically.

Strategy: Just keep zapping and running. Basically the Fire Taoist strategy but keep healing yourself if you get hit. Remember: killing someone triumphant over getting more points to win.

Ninja

Very annoying class to face. The main reason? T-O-X-I-C F-O-G. Right at the beginning at the 1 second mark, fog them. You start racking up the points because they are fogged, the great thing is, and you can hit archers in the air. (yay) After the toxic fog hits one, go in for the kill, two fold blade them as fast as you can. If they heal themselves, fog them again. If it gets to the end of the round, you will have more points if you didn't die from fogging them. The bad thing is that ninjas have very low defense. Get a great star tower and you will win for sure.

Strategy: Toxic fog enemies at the 1 second starting mark. Then wait for it to hit 1, then two fold blade. Keep fogging them if you can too if they heal themselves.

Trojan

This is one of the toughest classes to be in. Why? Because you usually have to use close combat against your enemies. If you are reborn you can zap if you were a water Taoist. But if you aren't, you probably chose blades, swords or clubs. With blades and swords, you can fast blade and scent sword. Get great with that and you should be good against archers. Use clubs and use Hercules once and a while.

Strategy: Try to go right up to the zapping classes. As for archers flying, not much you can do about it. Hope they will hit ones...

Warrior

This I think is the toughest class to have in the arena. Unless you have a shield and sword or blade

To use the ranging skills, you will probably lose. You must get so close to the enemies to hit them if you use a wand. Just try to hit them if you can.

Strategy: Just stay away from zapping and archers if you can. Nothing you can really do. You CAN win but it may be tough if you don't have high attack. Try to vamp up your heaven fan because warriors have the best defense of the game. The one attack you get on enemies may be the only one you need with a good heaven fan.

Archer

Last but not least. At all. Archers are the easiest way to win by a long shot. As long as you don't hit ones on enemies, you will be fine. Just fly and circle around you enemies. Taoists are you only real enemies. Get strong magic defense and just fly. The only other enemies are other archers. They will find great places to find to not be able to get hit. If you find them: you are ok. I will not share these spots because I know them and it is unfair to players that are not archers. I will just say they are available. If you find them, use them wisely. You will make a reputation of yourself. Someone on my server does it every single time and I cannot be him to the spot because he starts out flying and I do not know I face him until I am in there and I cannot fly until the arena and actually starts.

Strategy: Fly and attack. That's all you need to do if you see Taoists, use shift screen to avoid them because magic attacks cannot activate as far as you can shoot. Do not use the "invincible" spots unwisely. You will know when to use them.

Other notes you should know

-At the one second and you face a ninja; jump at the 1 second to avoid fogging then again to another spot. Ninjas usually hit the spot where you land with fog again.

-If warriors, Trojans or ninjas sit right next to you at the beginning, move. They will use major attacks on you and they usually have high damage to them sometimes one hit killing.

- If you use potions, don't use them if you are hitting very low numbers on your enemies and your enemies are doing a good amount of damage to you. It's a waste. Usually the other person is potting (using potions as well)

I have experienced these with the arena or my friends have experienced these. I know both sides of the battle pretty well. I hope these strategies helped.
