New Version Coming in Time for the Holidays

Over the past year, many players have enjoyed Aurora Blade, our first browser-based 2D RPG. To celebrate the Christmas season and show our appreciation for your continued support, the Aurora Blade team will be releasing a brand new version at 2:00-4:00am December 17th EST(GMT-5). With tons of new content, including new scenes, exciting instances and unique systems, players will have a lot to be merry about.

New Instances
The Aurora Blade team has designed 3 brand new instances to give players more challenges at different levels. Abyssal Worm Den, a level 40 instance featuring a complicated map and legions of high-level monsters, is designed to help players to level up faster. Players can easily obtain massive amounts of EXP from the instance's monsters. In the Subsea Palace, a level 45 instance, players can earn plenty of rare equipment and materials. For those who like to take on fierce BOSSes and enjoy exciting combat, the Death Tomb can't be missed. This level 55 instance offers players the chance to show off their abilities. If they can defeat the most powerful BOSS , they will obtain some truly awesome rewards.

New Enemy System
The new version will also add a unique "Enemy" system to PvP. Before, players often felt they could not take revenge for PvP defeats because they wanted to avoid increasing their Violence level. Under the new system, if a player is killed by another player, then the killer becomes the victim's enemy. Killing an enemy player will not increase a player's Violence level. But enemies killed by corresponding victims will lose some items and EXP according to their Violence level.

Game Adjustments
1. When refining or enchanting equipment at or below level 30, players will benefit from an increased success rate.
2. During combat between two opposing guilds, the Red Name rules won't be used. White name players won't lose anything if they are killed during the war. However, Blue name or above players will be punished according to the PK rules if they are killed by players of the opposing guild.
3. A bug that prevented players from attacking monsters after being teleported to Escape Island while under Auto-train status will be fixed.
4. Players will be able to click a BOSS name to see what equipment it will drop after its death (except Good Fellow Cards and Skill Scrolls).
5. During PvP, Priest players will be able to use their Healing skills, but their Violence level will be increased after they kill their targets.
6. Players will be able to directly view other players' character information and equipped gear by clicking a character's name in the chat window.
7. When you try to PK a Blue name player, you won't obtain any EXP if the target character is 8 or more levels higher or lower than you.
8. The "Block" function will be moved to the "Friends" function choices, making it more convenient for players to use the "Friends," "Enemies" and "Block" options in the same interface.
9. White name players' Violence level won't be decreased simply by being online.
10. Players will have a chance to obtain Skill Scrolls by defeating BOSSes in level 15, 25 and 35 instances.
11. Players below level 30 won't be able to PK other players during a guild war. They also won't be able to PK against Blue, Pink and Red name players.
12. The system will give lower-level players more prompts when they level up.

Players can look forward to brand new maps, BOSSes and quests in the new version of Aurora Blade. Watch the official site for more details as we count down to its release.
