Dialogue "Are you with the Shining Blade? I come in peace bearing a message for them. I am supposed to have dropped the message in a hollow log located someplace called Mamnoon Lagoon, but frankly, this forest makes me nervous. If you would be so good as to deliver the message for me, I'm certain your friends in the Shining Blade would be most appreciative. After you drop off the message, seek out Alari Doubleblade in Silverwood and tell him that the message has been delivered.

Objectives 1. Drop the message into the hollow log.
2. Talk to Alari Doubleblade to receive your reward.
Walkthrough This quest can be started from The Wilds or Druids Overlook but either way involves a considerable amount of traveling. The quest consists of two parts. Firstly the message must be placed in the hollow log. Secondly you must speak to Alari Doubleblade.

Doing the first part consists of walking through the Sage Lands into the Mamnoon Lagoon. Getting through the Sage Lands is fairly straight forward although you will probably find yourself being poisoned a lot.

The small section from the beginning of the Mamnoon Lagoon to the hollow log is quite difficult however. There are level 19 Jungle Skales, they come in groups of two and there are two groups that need to be killed. They are tough but they should not be too much of a problem. A group of 5 level 17 Wind Rider appear on the hill just past the hollow log. They use Mesmer skills like Conjure Phantasm and Cry of Frustration.

The Skales you must fight, but the Wind Riders are part of several patrols of Wind Riders that circle around the lagoon. If you are patient and careful, you can actually travel around the lagoon and into the Silverwood without fighting them.

If you are finding it hard to fight them or go around them, you could instead lead them back towards the start and die. You will respawn near the hollow log and should be able to continue without killing them. Alternatively you could use a runner, to simply run past them. The third option is to quickly drop the message in the hollow log then do the second part of the quest starting from Bloodstone Fen or Quarrel Falls (if they are on your map).

The second part requires you to talk to Alari Doubleblade who is in Silverwood. If you have been to Quarrel Falls or Bloodstone Fen then they are a short walk from there.
